"Chelsea Construction LLC took our mid-century, French Mansard-style home from shabby to chic! They replaced all the exterior siding on the house and garage, replaced all the garage doors, updated our grape arbors, and painted everything with a very classy combination of colors. They incorporated circular paver configurations in our existing patio (where shrubs had been removed) making everything perfectly blended. Inside they rejuvenated our entire upstairs. All new windows were custom designed in arched floor-to-ceiling dormers including stylized side windows in the master bedroom and offices. The stairwell arch opened up and brightened the two-story opening. Chelsea completely redesigned and updated the second story bath with porcelain tiles on the floor and bath/shower surround, beautiful quartz countertops and exquisite chrome contemporary waterfall fixtures. The staff at Chelsea completed and/or coordinated all the demolition, necessary vendors and subcontractors and the professional finish work. They are a company that listens, asks questions and makes suggestions. The staff are all professional, respectful, and when necessary excellent problem-solvers/resolution-makers. "We have had this firm for three projects in the last five years, and that says a great deal about them. Chelsea is a full service contracting firm that manages the job from initial design consultation to completion. Their skilled workers achieve results comparable to old world craftsmen, and we are constantly receiving complements on their detail and finish work. Working with one company from start to finish relieves much of the stress involved when you have to work with multiple sub contractors. Chelsea is a close knit family company and you work with the same person throughout the construction process. We had a whole house remodel in 2010. Everything was removed down to the studs - new kitchen cabinets, caesarstone countertops, ceramic tile floors in the whole house, remodeled bathroom with tile surround shower, marble topped vanity and new fixtures. They did extensive detail work throughout as well as complex tile patterns. Also, flat roof renovation. We had the same team back in 2013 to build a two level deck - each about 16' X 40'. Cedar decking with an underdeck water collection system to shield the lower deck for year-round use. Metal cable railing system. They also did stone slate stairs to the front door - about 5-6' elevation gain over about three levels and 6-8 risers. In 2015 they reworked a section of our roof to add a slope over our media room, and added clerestory windows, as well as repairing water damage to walls and replacing the wood flooring with tile. They also faced our chimney with stone. I would not hesitate to recommend Chelsea for any project where your goal is to work with a hands-on contractor that delivers quality work and superior customer satisfaction."
